The WBR approach

Preparation is part of the day.

Big winter days start with small decisions: read the forecast, know the boundaries, talk with your partners, and leave room to change the plan. This resource collection brings that mindset to every kind of mountain day.

Articles draw on Utah Avalanche Center, Utah land managers, resorts, and established safety organizations. Each article includes its sources and review status.
